Get ready to rally your friends, running buddies, or club members for the Team Competition at the Vegas Half Marathon!
It’s the perfect way to add some friendly competition, teamwork, and extra motivation to your race day experience.

Team Rules

• Each team must have a unique team name.

• Teams consist of 5–10 members.

• The first 5 finishers from each team will score points toward the team total.

• The top 3 teams per race distance will earn a special team competition medal.

• There’s no limit to the number of teams entered — as long as each team name is different.

 

How Does Team Scoring Work?

Scoring follows a cross-country format: the first 5 members of each team to cross the finish line earn points toward the team’s total score.
The 3 teams with the lowest combined scores will claim podium spots on race day.
Awards will be presented to the top 3 teams in each race distance.

Do All Team Members Get a Medal if Our Team Places in the Top 3?

✅ Yes! Every member of a podium-finishing team will receive a special team competition medal to celebrate their achievement.

We Belong to a Large Running Club — Can More Than 10 of Us Compete?

❌ Yes! You can enter multiple 10-person teams under your club — just make sure each team has a different name.

​

I’ve Already Registered as an Individual — Can I Join a Team Later?

✅ Absolutely! As long as your selected team hasn’t reached the 10-member limit, you can join or create a team after registering for the race.
